Hi there Visual Thinker - Basecamp doesn’t have the ability to produce Gantt charts, but Milestones will create a visual of project timelines. The Milestones section in Basecamp allows you to schedule due dates for the components of your project. It won’t give you the same start to finish visual as a Gantt chart, but you’ll see deadlines plotted out on a calendar.

There’s a lot of different ways to view your Milestones. You can view the team Milestones for each project - it displays any deadlines coming up in the next 14 days. Or you can see Milestones across your entire organization for 3 months. Or you can see the Milestones assigned to each team member for the next 3 months.

If Milestones won’t work for you, you can check out some of the 3rd party solutions on the Products Blog. Some outside folks have created add-ons that will produce Gantt charts. To keep things fair, we don’t endorse any of them (although they’re great people), and we won’t be able to offer support for any add-ons you work with. Oh, and there’s usually a subscription charge associated with them.
